New Oklahoma Cell Phone Law

Starting with the 2025–2026 school year, Senate Bill 139 prohibits Oklahoma students from using cell phones and personal electronic devices during the entire school day, from the first bell to the last bell. This includes phones, smartwatches, headphones, smart glasses, and tablets.

We understand that change isn’t always easy, but we believe this step will lead to calmer classrooms and help students thrive. Please take time to talk with your child about this new rule and why it matters. Together, we can support this new law and help build healthier learning habits for our students.
